The mission of the kinesiology programs is to provide a comprehensive and interdisciplinary education of and through human movement. Students are provided opportunities to work with dedicated faculty in the classroom, laboratory, field experiences, clinical sites, and internships.
Program graduates are prepared to be leaders in physical education, sport, allied health, and fitness industries.
The Division of Kinesiology offers majors in Athletic Training, Exercise and Sports Studies (ESS)and Physical Education (teacher licensure). Within the ESS major, there are four concentrations offered: Sport Behavior,Sport Administration, Sport Coaching, and Exercise Science.
Our faculty are dedicated to advancing knowledge within our respective disciplines while also ensuring student success and achievement. Faculty have been recognized for their work on campus, in their fields, and in the community.
