Accreditation and Certification

The Greensboro College Athletic Training Education Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) to offer an entry-level undergraduate degree in Athletic Training.

Individuals wishing to be certifed as athletic trainers must:

  • graduate from a CAATE accredited entry-level program and
  • successfully pass the Board of Certification examination.

Questions regarding accreditation of entry-level programs should be directed to the CAATE.
