Michelle Lesperance, MS, ATC, LAT

Michelle joined the faculty at Greensboro College in 2000 and currently serves as the Program Director and Assistant Professor for the Athletic Training Education Program. Prior to Greensboro College, she was the Program Director at Newman University.

Michelle is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education degree in Exercise and Sport Science at UNCG. She completed her Master of Science degree from Illinois State University and her undergraduate degree from Binghamton University.

Her research interests include problem based learning, critical thinking skills, and critical thinking disposition among undergraduate AT students. Michelle is a site visitor for the CAATE.

Michelle and her husband Brian are the parents of twins, Kaley and Chase.

 

 

Robert "BC" Charles-Liscombe, EdD, ATC, LAT

BC joined the faculty at Greensboro College in 2001 and currently serves as the Clinical Coordinator and an Associate Professor for the Athletic Training Education Program. Prior to Greensboro College, he was a Clinical Instructor/Associate Athletic Trainer at Lenoir Rhyne College in Hickory, NC.

BC completed his doctorate in Exercise and Sport Science at UNCG in May of 2007. He completed is Master of Science degree at Indiana University and his undergraduate studies at Guilford College.

He serves as the District 5 director of the NCATA and is a site visitor for CAATE. In 2008, Dr. Charles-Liscombe was awarded the "Atheltic Training Educator of the Year" award from the NCATA.  His various community service activities include serving on the Get Healthy Guilford Coalition, a group focused on addressing obesity and weight related issues in Guilford County. His research interests include qualitative and survey research methods, faculty role strain  and academic role orientation among AT educators.

BC and his wife Jaychele, also an athletic trainer and adjunct professor, have three daughters, Sabra, Teagan and Emery.

Dr. Kramer has been involved with the medical staff at Greensboro College and has served as the team physician since completing a sports medicine fellowship in 1993.

Dr. Kramer graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1989 and completed his residency in family practice at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in 1992.He is a board certified family practice physician with a certificate of added qualifications in Primary Care Sports Medicine.

Dr. Kramer has been a member of the staff at Murphy/Wainer Orthopedics since 1993. In addition to serving as the Medical Director for the Athletic Training Education Program and Team Physician at Greensboro College, Dr. Kramer serves as the team physician for James B. Dudley HS, Greensboro Day School, the Greensboro Grasshoppers, and the Greensboro Revolution.

Ted Eaves, MS, ATC, CSCS, LAT

Ted joined the clinical faculty in 2002 as Greensboro College's Head Athletic Trainer. His primary sports include football, cross-country, men's basketball, golf, and women's lacrosse. He also is responsible for the day to day management of the athletic training services for all GC athletes.

Ted is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree from UNCG in Exercise and Sport Science. He was a graduate student at Michigan State University and completed his undergraduate studies at the College of William and Mary.

Prior to Greensboro College, Ted was the Head Athletic Trainer at Averett University. Ted is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the NSCA. He is the author of The Practical Guide to Athletic Training by Jones and Bartlett Publishers.

Ted and his wife Jenny have two daughters, Caroline and Natalie.

 

 

 

Jill Sparrow, ATC, LAT

Jill joined the staff as a Graduate Assistant at Greensboro College in 2006. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University. Her primary responsibilities include women's soccer, men's basketball, softball, and tennis.

Ryan joined the staff as a Graduate Assistant at Greensboro College in 2007. He is a graduate of High Point University. His primary responsibilities include men's soccer, women's basketball, and baseball.

Robby joined the staff as a Graduate Assistant at Greensboro College in 2008. He is a graduate of Greensboro College. His primary responsibilities include women's volleyball, women's basketball, and men's lacrosse.
