FACILITIES

The Division of Kinesiology has mulitiple spaces available in Proctor Hall East for classroom and laboratory instruction.

The Athletic Training Lab is a classroom/laboratory equipped with an image projection system, CPR mannequins, an electric treatment table, 4 channel electrical stimulation unit, ultrasound unit, parafin bath, hydrocollator, a cycle ergometer, and various emergency care, assessment, and rehabilitation equipment.

 

 

The Exercise Science Lab is a dedicated laboratory space equpped with an underground hydrostatic weighing tank, a 12 lead ECG and metabolic cart, treadmill, 2 cycle ergometers, and additional physiology and biomechanical analysis software and equipment.

 

 

The Motor Development Lab is a classroom/laboratory equipped with an image display unit and various equipment.

 

 

The Movement Lab is a multi-use building that enables students to practice teaching in a gymnasium environment. The mirror lined facility has a hardwood floor and is equipped with state of the art physical education pedagogy equipment and materials.

 

 

 

Additionally, the Division of Kinesiology utilzes Hanes Gymnasium, Pride Field, the gyms and weight rooms at the Reynolds Family Student Life Center, the GC Sports Park, and the Athletic Training Center as classroom and laboratory settings for class.
